About Harris Corporation

Harris Corporation, now known as L3Harris Technologies, was an American company that focused on aerospace and defense industries, providing wireless equipment, electronic systems, tactical radios, and more for a variety of sectors. Harris Corporation was first established in 1895 as the Harris Automatic Press Company, initially focusing on lithographic processes and printing presses. In 1957, the company acquired Gates Radio, and it was at this time that Harris began to diversify their offerings with electronics. Over the following years, Harris would begin acquiring multiple businesses that focused on the manufacturing of products such as microwave technology, antennas, integrated circuits, and more, increasing their technological prowess.
